Review book-tax differences
Review accuracy of the tax capital balance
Review special allocations of partnership tax items.
Identify extraordinary transactions, such as gains and losses and cancellation of debt income.
Manage and track a large portfolio of returns.
Interact with internal personnel and external accountants and partners.
Research and respond to tax notices and correspond with Federal and State taxing agencies.
Process tax returns and handle payments.
Prepare state apportionment schedules for investment funds.
Other duties, as assigned.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
BA/BS or MS in Accounting or Taxation, CPA license
At least 3 years of Tax exp working in a CPA firm
Can-do attitude and a team player who is willing and able to perform a multitude of various duties to keep the practice running smoothly
Outstanding organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills with the ability to research solutions to problems and propose best option to owner
Excellent communication skills - very tactful so as to be able to handle sensitive staff matters as well as client issues

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years
