Electrical Team Manager is responsible for a key contribution when it comes to completing projects within the power portion of our assembly process. Our expectation for the role is that this leader plays an integral part in achieving our on-time delivery of customer products that include electrical components. The Electrical Team Manager must successfully manage the Electrical production team, with the assistance of the Electrical Team Lead(s).Responsibilities:Supervisory: -Perform business management duties, such as maintaining records or files, preparing reports, or ordering supplies or equipment. -Develops and manages specific goals and plans for the Team to prioritize, organize, and accomplish each project. -Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, the quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel. -Monitor the Electrical Team's work levels and review work performance individually and as a whole. -Must effectively manage and train all direct reports, from Team Lead to Technicians, in daily OJT (on-time training), for new and upcoming techniques and procedures, as well as safety protocols. -Utilize knowledge of AC and DC industry standards and apply within mobile industry where applicable. -Will help cast a vision to drive performance and improvement by using industry best practices. -Inspect all project electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. -Promote quality at all levels where our deliverables include timeliness, dependability, and reliability.Electrical: -Test electrical systems or continuity of AC and DC circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. -Diagnose malfunctioning AC and 12V systems, apparatus, or components, using, visual inspection and test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. -Inspect and test AC and 12V electrical systems and equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions, using visual inspections, testing devices, and computer software.Working hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:-Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.-Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.-Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.-Troubleshooting - determining causes of operating errors in electrical systems and deciding what to do about it.-Systems Evaluation - Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and quality and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.Education:High SchoolExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:-ASE Master Technician certification preferred -5+ years of experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment. -5+ years of experience in 12V and 120V electrical experience. -5+ years of experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical circuitry. -5+ years of experience reading and following CAD.
