Location: Remote; employee must provide their own internet in order to perform role, equipment will be provided to them.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to incoming inquiries via phone.
- Interview inquirers to accurately assess their needs and potential barriers.
- Search the resource database to determine appointment availability, utilizing other resources as necessary.
- Fully inform callers of all required documents and instructions.
- Provide specific and detailed information on how to access appointments and tax preparation services.
- Protect and respect consumer and client confidentiality.
Skills:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and callers.
- Attention to Detail: Maintaining a high level of accuracy by carefully reviewing and confirming information.
- Problem-Solving: Proactiveness in identifying issues and developing practical solutions.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a public-facing or service-oriented role.
- Proficiency in various applications and technologies, including Google and other web-based programs, with the ability to pivot as needed.
- Flexible and available between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
