1st shift is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 2nd shift is 3:30 pm to midnight. Training is completed on the 1st shift and individuals may go to the 2nd shift after training. Union employees scheduled on 2nd shift receive a shift differential of $1.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
*Plan, design, construct, or repair a wide variety of highly intricate and complicated tools, dies, jigs, gauges, and fixtures to extremely close tolerances.
*Perform difficult development work and construct tools where no design is available.
*Select allowances and device mechanism details.
*Perform highly skilled fitting, adjusting, and timing of tools and machinery.
*Perform work involving multi-station progressive dies, intricate compound dies of irregular shape, suppress dies for parts of delicate outline, and complex index milling fixtures.
*Perform any tool room machine operation, including CAD/KEY, CNC lathe, and other technologies required for toolroom operations.
*Work from complicated drawings and sketches.
*Use advanced shop mathematics and all types of precision measuring instruments.
*Apply a high degree of experience, trade skill, and thorough knowledge of machine shop practice.
*Other duties as assigned.

*CNC / Machine Tool Technology (or equivalent) degree or certificate
