In this position you will design and implement tooling, fixturing, and machinery to support new process development and continuous improvement projects. This position will collaborate with manufacturing engineering teams to develop equipment solutions for assembly and manufacturing. In addition, you will responsible for researching new technologies and innovations in order to implement cost effective and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the repair, rebuild and improvement of tooling, fixturing, and machinery
- Responsible for quoting and project deadlines for new tooling and equipment design projects.
- Reviews and approves designs, drawings, details, etc. at the group level. Specifies, requisitions, and buys tooling materials and components. Expedites tooling projects to insure their timely completion.
- Performs as liaison, when assigned, with equipment manufacturers, sub-contractors and tooling service firms engaged by the company
- Support NPD and continuous improvement projects by collaborating with engineering and operations teams to ensure project deadlines are achieved
- Provides engineering assistance during tool construction and initial tool tryout and debug. Ensures that tools are dimensionally verified and are production ready when released.
- Establish process for design request and direct equipment design and tool and die team priorities
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the field of tooling, applications and methods. Recommends the adoption of innovations when applications are feasible to improve quality and production or reduce manufacturing costs.
- Maintain tool drawing file to insure that all tool designs are maintained in as-built status in accordance to QSP-0096
- Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

--Pro E software experience preferred
--Strong background in die/fixture design, metal working materials, mechanics, and heat treating
--Required experience and familiarity with CNC machine tools and parts making
--Preferred experience with Windchill
