Responsibilities:
Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify appropriate personnel of hazardous situations. Plan, fabricate, and construct dies, tools, fixtures, and PLC automated equipment to meet quality, safety, cost and production requirements.
Participate in the design and development of tooling/equipment by providing design and process input to Manufacturing/Engineering and/or tool design.
Install, maintain, and replace semi-automation and automation equipment in production as required.
Troubleshoot non-functioning equipment which includes mechanical, electrical and PLC controlled.
Possess a deep understanding of Ethernet communication, Control Logic and Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
Repair and maintain dies, tools, fixtures, and machines to support production requirements of quality, cost and safety.
Actively participate in new tool/equipment quotes to provide an estimate for materials, labor, and completion dates.
Assume other projects and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
Communicate with management, peers, internal customers, engineering, and quality personnel. Interact directly with outside salespeople and vendors.
Make daily independent and team decisions related to priority and tooling design changes and make buy analysis. Accountable for performance-to-budget and purchase of general supplies. Directly affect product cost through tooling methods and technology. Must maintain effective internal customer relations.

Experience in automation or related field.
1 to 3 years relevant work experience with PLC programming, debugging and testing manufacturing equipment.
Experience with Pneumatic systems, excellent mechanical aptitude.
Must be a US Citizen
Ability to understand and implement AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Ability to operate equipment and use tools and techniques effectively, efficiently and in accordance with ergonomic principles.
Proficiency in software as required; ability to perform math calculations, measurement, analysis or reporting as directed.
Ability to interpret blue prints.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM and/or PLC programming.
Thorough knowledge of tooling concepts and methods.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
PAY RANGE: $26.15/HR - $31.88
