The Tradeshow Marketing Coordinator will provide expert support to the Director of Marketing, and responsible for searching for trade shows and events in the region for the company to attend that will get their products in front of Home Improvement/Remodeling consumers. The Tradeshow Marketing Associate will secure events which can include face-to-face, telephone and written interaction with prospective venues. Once events are identified, the Tradeshow Marketing Coordinator will assist in the creation and design of Tradeshow vendor displays, organize and coordinate the events, and be sure they are adequately staffed. What makes a good Tradeshow Marketing Associate?
Successful Tradeshow Marketing Associates require non-traditional marketing skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, time management and effective prioritization. The Tradeshow Marketing Associate will work directly with the Marketing Director in coordination of events and trade shows within the region. This position ensures that events align with the company mission, vision and objectives; that key messages are communicated through events.
Responsibilities:
Works collaboratively with Marketing Director to understand business objectives and audience insights, drive project deliverables and track against goals.
Provides administrative support to Marketing Director
Provides overall direction at events to Brand Ambassadors
Canvasing and proximity marketing
Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive set to stay ahead of competition
Organize and coordinate events, planning and staff
Conduct post event evaluations
Represent the company in the community and at community events
Ensure events meet success criteria
Other duties as assigned
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
1-2 years in event support preferred but not required
Tradeshow, Vendor show, Fair Vender, Home Show experience and/or knowledge helpful
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily.
Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills to interface with all departments.
Execute the companies Brand requirements.
Able to multi-task while remaining accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress.
Creativity and meticulous attention to detail

Clear and concise communication with a positive and professional manner
Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, knowledge of internet
Maintain neat, well-groomed, professional appearance
Able to sit prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer

Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Willing to be flexible with hours. Core hours are M-TH 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-3pm, but this role will require some travel within our region and be an active participant in company Tradeshow events. It is not required to attend all events, but is required to help with new staff and getting things in motion for events.
This is a DIRECT HIRE position, meaning you start working directly for this company on day one. Permanent position, long-term with benefits.
PAY RANGE: $20-$25/HR
CORE HOURS: M-TH 8AM-5PM, FRI 8AM-3PM
