traveling health screening technician.

Responsibilities:
The Traveling Health Screening Technician will provide hearing, vision and respiratory testing and health screenings at Industrial Production companies & municipalities throughout the upper Midwest; Minnesota, Wisconsin, North/South Dakota and Iowa.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
Working knowledge of Windows Software and the ability to type over 35 words per minute would be preferred, but not required.
Do NOT need a college degree
The ability to maneuver a 5th-wheel trailer is desired, but WILL TRAIN!
Do NOT need a CDL
Any type of Medical Background or experience would be desired, but NOT required.

Qualifications:
Computer Skills
Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
Must show competency in the ability to be trained on maneuvering a trailer.
Must be willing to be trained on several testing devices, i.e., Audiometer, Spirometer, Fit Tester, Vision Screener, etc.
A schedule that allows traveling from the Owatonna area and within the areas serviced for a few days at a time continuously.
Must be willing and able to travel overnight half the time in the area and within the service territory.
A disposition to enjoy and be comfortable with traveling.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Short days, long days, early days, late days.
Must be a self-motivated and an independent worker
Must be very reliable.
Must enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life. (Multi-lingual a plus!)
Must exude a professional attitude in communicating with our clients.
One of the most important skill sets is to be organized and accurate; you will perform a variety of medical tests.
The aptitude to work with little or no supervision, while communicating with our client.
A willingness to maintain the mechanical standards of the testing equipment.
Tis is a long-term position, so an interest in health testing and a desire to be part of the health industry is desired.


Salaried $45,000 Annual starting salary.
Typical work week is much less than 40hrs/week but guaranteed full 40hr/wk pay!
NO SATURDAYS, NO SUNDAYS, and minimal FRIDAYS!
There can be much down time during the week while you???re on the road, you could be working towards an on-line degree, golfing, biking, visiting State Parks in a 5 state area, or reading a good book!

Company credit card for travel expenses.
Cell phone reimbursement
Full training for all services performed. (present accreditation a plus!)
After 90 days a $2000-$2500 bump in pay
Only 2 required meetings a year in July & Nov???.outside of that it???s like being your own boss with much independence if your job is being accomplished to standards.
The truck & Trailer go home with you and maintaining is your responsibility (all expenses paid).
