utility worker - nights.

Spherion in Nacogdoches is currently looking for a foundry worker to work 2nd shift (3pm-11pm).  This is a full time job that is temp to hire.  The pay is $13.00 an hour. We are looking for someone with previous machine operating experience or production experience.  You must be dependable and have steel toed boots. Packing product for shippingSafety & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP):Review and follow all requirements defined in all proceduresReview the following with the out-going Packer.Any product quality problems including any rejected products.Any special instructions.Check carton labels at machine to verify information is correct.Visually inspect products using the acceptance criteria as defined Keep the work area free of obstacles that may create an unsafe condition.Assemble cartons. Ensure carton is clean with no previous labels or markings.Place bag liners in each carton. Open bag just before placing bottles in. Minimize the time a bag is left open unattended. Quantity should not exceed one hour worth of production.Visually inspect product for molding, deco and labeling nonconformities Pack cartons in the packing pattern and quantity per carton specified for the job.Wear appropriate gloves while packing or sorting.When carton is full, verify product matches the carton label.Place carton label on carton in the location specified and in sequential order.Write your initials, date and shift on the label.
