Spherion is looking for an experienced warehouse worker to participate in warehouse operations and activities. This warehouse worker's responsibilities will include picking, packing and scanning orders and storing materials. The goal will be to increase customer satisfaction, efficiency and profitability.Responsibilities:Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for auditsKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationComplete logs into inventoryReport any discrepanciesFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulationsCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and maintain preventatively warehouse equipmentWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:1 year working experience as a warehouse workerFamiliarity with warehousing practicing and methodsPossess organizational and time management skillsForklift experience a plusEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.Valid driver license and clear driving record IS A MUST!
