Collaborate with the Controller and Director of Purchasing to ensure consistent and harmonious direction and guidance in Accounting, Finance, Treasury and Purchasing.Undertake detailed financial analysis and make informed recommendations.Developing and monitoring business performance metrics.Collaborate and work with the Controller and Director of Purchasing to develop and maintain personnel morale, team spirit and confidence. Work with the CFO and COO to develop and maintain the culture and philosophy of the Company.Support the Executive Team by understanding the Vision, providing a `soundboard? for Ideas, participate in Discussion, take part in Planning, lead or oversee Implementation, ensure Completion and, as applicable, undertake follow-up.Provide the Executive Team advice and guidance; general and specific, as warranted or requested.Keep CFO fully informed and abreast of plans and actions before implementation.Collaborate with the Controller and Director of Purchasing to mentor, coach and train the Accounting and Purchasing teams; motivating and empowering team members and the team as a whole to grow (personally and professionally). Assist the CFO in the performance of the Company's Strategic Plan, meeting goals and objectives and monitoring the Company's progress. Support the Company's efforts to keep the Strategic Plan current. Protect and safeguard the assets, employees, name and reputation of the Company. Represent the Company before banks, suppliers, investors, governmental agencies and other third parties.Participate in the selection of external advisors, lawyers and consultants, and engage and direct such parties.
