The local Chapter of a National non-profit seeks a Volunteer and Intake Coordinator for their location in Camarillo which serves Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. The Volunteer and Intake Coordinator will oversee the volunteer program, and administer intake and on-boarding of new clients referred to the Chapter. The Volunteer and Intake Coordinator plays a vital role in the organization and provides a premier experience to the network of constituents in the tri-county area enabling the Chapter to fulfill their mission.

Responsibilities:
Ensure a strong and dynamic volunteer base throughout our territory enabling the chapter to effectively support mission delivery, fundraising and community outreach objectives at a grassroots level.
Establish a comprehensive volunteer engagement plan including formal recruitment, onboarding, training, communication, recognition, and retention plans.
Oversee the compliance and record retention of all mandated volunteer requirements ensuring the chapter is prepared for all chapter audits
Administer Intake & Medical Eligibility platform from when a client is referred through the Diagnosis Verification process
Ensure records for newly qualified clients are created in the management platform
Conduct Welcome Calls and update details in case records
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Fluent in English and Spanish
Proficient in Salesforce or other CRM platform
3 years prior Volunteer Management or Human Resources experience
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Must be able to travel in the tri-county areas
Strong computer skills is Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional detail to details and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3-5 years applicable work experience in a non-profit environment
