Responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in the warehouse department.Responsibilities:Supervise all employees in labeling lines, storage and shipment departments.Study production orders to assure type and quantity of labels.Observe labeling operations and inspect cans that canStart, adjust and repair labeling machinery or notify maintenance department.Prepare pack reports.Train workers in operation of equipmentBack-up for all warehouse jobs.May perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse managementMaintain an open line of communication with all employees.Responsible for setting an example for employees on safety and for monitoring and correcting unsafe acts.Supervise and maintain appropriate records for all phases of warehouse production, assuring accurate records.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.Coach and mentor subordinates and other key personnel to perform at the highest level.Openly communicate all labor situations in the warehouse to the Warehouse Manager and HR management.Working hours: 3:45 PM - 3:30 AMSkills:Knowledge:--Computer skills --Have a working knowledge of continuous improvement and/or Lean manufacturing principles.--Experience in change management--Understands and utilizes the principles of management by walking around Language Skills:--Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. --Ability to read, write in English and interpret reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills:--Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
