After picking components for orders, this employee transports the items to a packing station to package the items for shipping.Responsibilities:Tasks:1. Picking of orders from high bay racks which requires bending, squatting, and reaching for materials.2. Manual pulling of empty wooden skids and stacking of skids on piles frequently at shoulder height.3. Packaging of material into boxes and label application.4. Boxing of materials for shipping.5. Computer operation to obtain order details.6. Pushing/pulling of carts or pallet jacks with materials or boxes on them (Carts are equal to or less than 100 lbs. in weight).7. Frequent standing in one location for extended periods of time while at packing or fulfillment stations.Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PMSkills:Physical Demands:1. Continuous standing and walking on flat surfaces.2. Continuous reaching at or below shoulder level.3. Frequent lifting of boxes and materials up to 50 lbs. in weight.4. Occasional twisting of the trunk when handling boxes or other materials.5. Moderate bending at the waist and knees when obtaining or handling boxes/materials.6.
