Now hiring for warehouse associates. Spherion of Erie currently has Fork Lift driving opportunities available to support our local customer in North East, PA. Our Fork Lift Drivers will be working 2nd and 3rd shift with limited required OT. This position will support our customers picking and packing operations Mon thru Fri in North East, PA. key responsibilities
- Receive and put away stock material accurately and in a timely fashion
- Ensure outgoing freight is shipped efficiently each day
- Handle returned goods properly and in a timely manner
- Participate in or assist with inventory preparation or process
- Placing items into shopping totes on hand cart
- Picking multiple orders at once, moving from location to location
- Maintain clean and safe work area, including delivery vehicles
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks of warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts
- Complete assigned training in a timely manner
- Complete all other appropriate tasks or duties assigned by supervisor
skills
- Ability to read and write
- Basic math skills
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and time-management skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team
qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previously Fork lift Certified
- Dedicated transportation - bus route not accessible
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to move product consistently that at times can weigh up to 40 lbs.
