We're looking for coaches and shift leaders to oversee operations and team members during scheduled shifts.Responsibilities:Check employees in and out with security, meet and greet employees to ensure morale remains high and they arrive and exit on timeCheck for and report on no call/no show employees and partner with leadership to ensure additional employees are called to the work as requested.Assist with new hire orientation. Attend start of shift meetings, and any other group activities as needed. Train employees on the timekeeping process, monitor missed punches and coach/correct where needed. Drive production, monitor safety practices, and eliminate errors to ensure quality of work, and top performance.Ensure that safety incidents are reported to Onsite Manager and Location representatives for OSHA tracking within 24 hours of the incident.Assist in determining and investigating any safety incident or injury trend to reduce recurrenceBuild relationships with location leaders through daily interaction and weekly meetings. Work with Location leadership to manage workflow, and to solicit input on employees? productivity and departmental concerns.Ensure shift adherence to safety and employee relations policies, investigate complaints or deviations from policy, and make recommendations as needed.Motivate and manage performance of employees, ensuring work-loads are distributed appropriately and in a manner that will optimize efficiency while ensuring completion of daily tasks.Ensure Workers get guidance, support, and appropriate feedback about their assignmentWorking hours: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)Skills:-Proven experience in a previous leadership role -Previous warehouse or production experience-The ability to make quick and sound decisions without Onsite Manger -Work well within a team, and the ability to build a positive environment-Problem solving and de-escalation skillsEducation:No Degree RequiredExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Associates Degree preferred, high school diploma required 1-2 years of leadership and customer service experience 1-2 years of experience working with others as a successful teamThe ability to work long hours in a fast paced environment while standing and walkingPlanning and people management apply hereSpherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
