and the assistance in the flow of inventory from Production to Main warehouse. Assists in fulfillment of necessary materials and KANBAN products in Production. This is a hands-on position. Employees must be comfortable with adjusting priorities to ensure on-time delivery to customers while managing the integrity of inventory. Previous experience with WMS operating systems, and Excel and previous use with material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfillment of daily requirements in Production/Warehouse on KANBAN and facilities requirements.
- Product flow control from Production to the Warehouse
- Processing and data entry assistance of all piecework items
- Count and label verification of products received from Production. Order preparation and packaging items as necessary for delivery to the warehouse or to fulfill customer orders.
- Data entry requirements in moving inventory from the QA bucket into usable inventory. Location management within our MRP System
- Delivery of product to inventory locations. Managing FIFO requirements
- Assistance/Backup for Shipper in processing orders to customers. Packaging, palletizing, and labeling orders to meet customer requirements.
- Receipt and unloading of inbound materials. Delivery of materials to appropriate locations or inventory. Processing and labeling inbound material and verification of certification requirements
- Kitting orders for Production jobs, Erie line, and Hilco assembly area.
- Maintains warehouse in a clean and well-organized area.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- Licensed to drive a fork truck.
- Previous Experience or Training with Inventory Control, UPS, FedEx, and Freight Systems
- Can communicate in English/Spanish, highly preferred
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good computer knowledge
- Previous Experience or Training with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- High attention to Detail and Quality
- Able to lift 55 pounds
- Able to do physical work for the majority of the day
- Good basic Math skills
- Ability for flexible breaks and lunch times.
