Responsibilities:
Completes daily cycle counting in accordance with established procedures.
Puts incoming freight away in correct location or have the ability to move it within the system.
Be on the radio for help and support for assembly.
Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
Makes sure all bins are marked with identifying part numbers and in correct location.
Fills orders or issues supplies from stock, transports products to and from designated areas using hand truck or forklift.
Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock, productions, returned goods and related transactions.
Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
Communicates daily with materials department on order changes and updates.
Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, when maintenance is needed.
Notify supervisor and/or quality when parts are damaged, rusted or has any other question of quality.
Marks out going jobs with correct job number and other information related to the finished job.
Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments point of use inventory using a hand cart, pallet jack, or forklift.
