We are urgently looking to fill multiple Press Operator positions for our client in Duluth.
Press Operators are responsible for the inventory, set-up and operation of all printing, inserting and mailing equipment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for keeping all supplies and operating area inventory stocked and ready.

-Assure the correct product is being used for the print run.
-Quality check printed product to ensure no lines, bleeding print, missing print or other flaws are present. Sample of printed material is "pulled" to ensure accuracy of client data, print alignment, print quality, etc.
-Enter information of "pulled" samples into computer database system and/or in
?? reference to printed informational sheet.
-In preparation for print run, print postal paperwork. Place tags in mail trays and sort into postal order.
-Fill feeders on the printing press.
-Read and execute job planning instructions according to client specifications.
-Ability to make quick quality decisions in a production environment.
-Ensure all material and printed pieces are quality checked and maintain the company's high quality standards.
-Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
-Must have proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
-Must be able to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
-Must display strong communication skills, basic math skills, good reading skills and attention to detail.
-Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends with little notice provided; shifts may be up to 12 hours
