Responsibilities:
-Transport materials, products, and supplies to and from storage areas, production lines, or loading docks. This can involve manually lifting items or using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, containers, or other transportation vehicles. This includes ensuring that materials are loaded securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Arrange materials and products in designated storage areas according to inventory system protocols. This helps ensure that items are easily accessible and properly stored to avoid damage or loss.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. This includes using proper lifting techniques, wearing protective gear, and adhering to equipment operation guidelines.
- Keep work areas, storage spaces, and equipment clean and organized. This helps improve efficiency and reduces the risk of accidents.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure that material handling tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Clear communication is essential for resolving any issues that arise during operations.
