Identify and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical malfunctions in production machines and facility systems.
Seek guidance from senior maintenance technicians when necessary.
? Systems Knowledge:
Familiarity with various systems such as PLCs, HMIs, VFD Drives, Vision Systems, Motor Control Centers, Power Distribution Centers, and different types of motors.
Understand power and control circuits, as well as control panel layout and component installation.
Preventative Maintenance:
Perform routine preventative maintenance on all production equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
? Electrical Inspection and Repair:
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and compliance with NEC codes.
Install and repair electrical systems, following electrical code and specifications.
? Equipment Installation:
Assist in the installation of new or used manufacturing equipment with guidance from senior technicians.
? Fabrication and Machining:
Fabricate and machine parts or components as needed for various projects.
? Working at Heights:
Operate lift trucks, man lifts, and boom lifts to work in elevated locations safely.
? General Maintenance Skills:
Perform various maintenance tasks, including welding, prototyping, plumbing, painting, masonry, piping, and carpentry duties.
? Continuous Improvement and Lean Initiatives:
Support and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain 5-S principles in the workspace.
Utilize visual management tools like layered process audits and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards.
Encourage and engage in Kaizen improvements and events.

? Other Duties:
Be willing to take on various other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or as needed for the maintenance department.

Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens Software to troubleshoot PLC's, HMI's, and Drives, and make "minor" program modifications when necessary and approved by management
- Forklift/Crane Certification
- Previous mechanical power press experience
- Previous roll forming experience
- Previous sheet metal fabrication
- Previous gas Metal Arch Welding (GMAW) experience
- Journeyman Electrician Certification
- US Naval Nuclear Power Trained
Position Requirements:
- Must have own tools and measuring instruments
- Ability to read and write fluently in English
- Ability to build positive relationships that support job objectives and a team environment
- Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office)
- Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems
- Must be familiar with the safe use of all hand tools and power equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends with little advanced notice
- Ability to work with limited or no supervision
- Follow safe work practices per government and corporate safety standards
