Our client, with roots that date back to the 1800s and 4 manufacturing facilities across Wisconsin, is looking to expand leadership on their 3rd shift (11 pm - 7 am) team! As a Lead Manufacturing Technician, you will oversee a team of 5-7 machine operators, material handlers, and quality control workers. We are looking for candidates with leadership experience and a background in plastic manufacturing and molding (injection molding preferred). Please keep reading for more information!

Responsibilities:
- Review production schedules and assign work for each employee, department, and work center as required by production orders
- Set mold and start jobs according to standard procedures as instructed by the supervisor or upper management
- Set up and changeover of equipment used for performing secondary and degating operations at the molding machines (Tables, Conveyors, Water Tanks, Degaters, Fixtures, etc.)
- Attend and participate in daily Production/Quality meetings
- Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working in a plastics manufacturing environment - injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, press molding, etc.
- Leadership experience and workflow management experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
