Day to day direction of maintenance technicians in the support of production, by maintaining equipment, building and utilities.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure safety rules are followed by direct reports and others
-Direct and supervise Team Leaders and Maintenance
-Technicians in day-to-day assignments
-Coordinate preventative maintenance plans

-Coordinate and monitor outside contractors
-Coordinate progression levels through skill blocks
-Process direct report timecards in HRIS system
-Review work performance and attendance issues
-Review maintenance work orders as close as needed
-Coach and counsel direct reports as required
-Act as first responder for emergency contingency plan
-Assist in corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment
-Assist in union labor relations in applicable plants
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Skills:
-Intermediate/Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and EAM software (CAD software skills preferred)
-Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
-Excellent Analytical Skills
-A strong desire for independent growth & professional development
-Understand, follow, and comply with all safety rules
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED required
-BS or AS degree in a technical field from accredited college or technical school preferred
-5 years of experience in industrial multi-craft maintenance required
-Knowledge of industrial plant utility systems, furnace operation, and automated systems
-Good verbal/written communication and troubleshooting skills
-Basic knowledge of hand tools, shop tools, PIV, and general office equipment.
-Must be able to produce accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
-Valid driver?s license required for business travel.
-Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
