Join our clients team as a Permitting Coordinator and fuel their projects with your regulatory expertise. In this vital role, you'll shepherd construction plans through the approval gauntlet, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local permitting requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage the permitting process and permitting assistant.

Permit application ? Acquire, for each project, truss layouts, truss engineering, surveys, energy calcs, and soil reports from subcontractors.
Prepare various forms, and get multiple signatures and seals using the correct owner of record, to be able to turn in a permit to Manatee County in a timely manner.
Permit issue ? Pay fees, provide requested paperwork, resolve problems, and answer questions from the county, to get a permit issued in a timely manner.
Resolve the latest county procedure ? finding the best, fastest way to comply, i.e., drainage policy.
Re-reviews ? acquire necessary paperwork, apply, and get issued in a timely manner.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Organizational skills, strong computer skills to access various county websites, exceptional people management skills, ability to persevere, and good follow-through techniques.
Must be computer savvy and be able to learn new software quickly
Must have a great sense of urgency in order to meet strict deadlines
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and dependable
Exceptional written, verbal, and listening skills
Must be team-oriented and work well in a team environment
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs
