We are currently seeking dedicated and detail oriented Sanitation Technicians to join our client, a leading manufacturer of USDA organic food products. As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the production facility by executing sanitation procedures on machinery and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Perform sanitation procedures on production machinery and equipment following lockout-tagout protocols.
- Clean, and sanitize production equipment and production area.
- Use appropriate USDA approved cleaning agents and sanitizers to eliminate contaminants and prevent cross-contamination.
- Collaborate with sanitation supervisors and production members to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Skills:
- Previous experience in sanitation or janitorial work (in a food manufacturing facility is a plus).
- Familiarity with lockout-tagout procedures and safety protocols for working with machinery and equipment.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, chemicals, and cleaning equipment used in food production facilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
