The Quality Technician works under, and reports directly to the Quality Manager. The Quality Tech continuously works to improve the quality performance and ensure compliance with quality standards. Performs measurement and validation tasks to support Production and Quality requirements. The Quality Tech will also interpret quality plans, and reviews and analyzes daily quality performance to identify, contain, control and improve quality.

Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of quality control test/inspections and complex analyses of raw materials, packaging materials and/or finished products from manufacturing to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.
Performs a variety of complex qualitative or quantitative tests on samples, and to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.
Analyzes data and writes summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards.
Performs product and process audits.
May inspect, measure, and test parts in accordance with blueprints, product plan requirements or engineering sketches.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
General knowledge of blue prints.
Inspection using measuring and test equipment, and measurement techniques.
Geometric dimensioning and tolerance knowledge a plus.
Quality calibration processes experience also a plus.
Experience certifying typical equipment such as calipers, micrometers and computer controlled gauging equipment.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read, write and understand English
Minimum 1 year related experience in inspection, injection molding, assembly, machine shop operations or similar industry/environment and/or training
Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
