Unfortunately, with unemployment at an all-time high, online fraud and financial scams are on the rise. Spherion has become aware of a recent phishing ploy that preys against job candidates, attempting to lure them to submit credit information.
Please know that this is not a message from Spherion. We do not ask our job candidates to provide us with credit information in advance of an interview.
Currently, the following email addresses associated with these fraudulent emails are, for example, jessicafschultz@spherion-inc.com, jessica@spherion-inc.com. Other e-mail addresses originating from a fradulent domain "spherion-inc.com" may be used as well. That domain is not owned, operated, or affiliated with Spherion Staffing or the SFN Group family of brands.
