We are seeking motivated team players to join our high volume production team! Spherion is currently hiring multiple Manufacturing Packaging Technicians for a premier client. In this role, you will work rotating 12 hour shifts in a fast paced environment to safely inspect, count, and package manufactured paper and plastic products including cups and lids according to strict quality standards. You will operate automated packaging machinery, prepare shipping containers, and ensure every finished batch meets customer specifications before final shipment.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect cups and lids before packaging to ensure top quality.
- Operate automated baggers, printers, labelers, and case erectors.
- Clear product jams and load packing materials into machines.
- Prepare and stamp boxes, count items, and load full cases onto conveyors.
- Keep your work station clean and follow 5S safety guidelines.
- Track daily production totals and communicate updates at shift change.
- Separate recyclable materials and trash into correct bins.
- Help quality and printing teams sort materials when needed.
- Report mechanical issues or product defects to supervisors immediately.

Skills:
- 1 to 2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.

Qualifications:
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work rotating 12 hour shifts, standing or walking the entire shift.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 250 lbs on a cart.
- Ability to climb equipment stairs and work in varying temperatures.
- Strong visual acuity and depth perception. Flexibility to work required overtime.
