Spherion is seeking a motivated Instructor to join the training department of a major aerospace manufacturer. In this role, you will deliver existing curriculum and lead practical demonstrations to help employees master essential manufacturing systems.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay rate: $32.00 per hour, paid weekly through Spherion

- Overtime opportunities are available at $48.00 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement: $0.70 per mile is provided for qualifying commutes beyond the closest work location
- Career Growth: Contract may be extended or transition into a direct hire position based on performance
Work Schedule and Locations:
- Flexibility is required for this role. Candidates must be open to working at any of the three primary locations:
1. North (Everett area)
2. Central (Renton and Seattle)
3. South (Auburn). Please note that the South location operates on the 1st shift only.
Shift times may be adjusted by approximately one hour.
- 1st shift: 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM
- 2nd shift runs from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive lesson plans and training materials in accordance with industry standards and educational best practices
- Provide both theoretical and practical instruction, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with relevant tools and equipment
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of education provided
- Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment, adhering to all institutional and industry safety protocol
Working hours: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
- Ability to instruct technical courses in the Aerospace industry
- Manage basic technology to deliver training
- Prior teaching or instructional experience is a plus but not required
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Ability to teach a variety of aerospace courses. This role involves providing training in several key areas, including electrical installations, mechanical skills, sealant application, and environmental health and safety.
- Only US Citizens are eligible for this level of a project
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
