Responsibilities:
Examine circuit boards to detect any shorts, excess or missing solder, scratches, cracks and placement of components or other defects.
SMT component visual and automated inspection as needed
Perform regular machine maintenance and calibration
Conduct quality control screenings and part identification
Verify conformance and maintain adherence to internal quality standards by approving materials at in-process inspection for all products to specified dimensions
Assist in training new personnel on the operation of automated inspection equipment.
Technical machine operation
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Skills:
AOI machine experience
3 years of related experience working in fast paced environment
Familiar with IPC-A-610 standards
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Previous experience inspecting SMT on the surface of PCB and working in an electronics assembly environment
Soldering experience
Ability to read, understand and interpret written and/or verbal instructions
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask the changing daily priorities
Must be mechanically minded with excellent computer skills
Must be able to train on day shift then transition to second shift once training completed
