What You'll Do
As an Assembler, you'll be placed in an area that matches your experience and current production needs. You may:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components using blueprints, schematics, wiring, soldering and hand tools
- Prepare and complete components throughout the assembly production process
- Support production by preparing, taping and foaming cabinet shells, doors and tanks
- Pick and move materials, pack items, complete cycle counts and support warehouse and materials operations
- Inspect completed components to make sure they meet specifications
- Use a variety of tools while learning different parts of the manufacturing and production process
- Cross-train in additional areas as you gain experience
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a basic math assessment
- Ability to read blueprints, parts lists or technical drawings
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to safely lift and move materials throughout your shift
- Reliable transportation to Rockton, IL
- At least 1 year of assembly, manufacturing, production or material handling experience highly preferred
