Spherion Sioux Falls is looking for experienced Assembly Technicians to
assist with metal & wood fabrication work, test & assembly of mechanical and electrical components of the product as well as moving materials within the warehouse.
Pay: $22-25/hour DOE
Responsibilities:
-Assemble orders and prepare items for shipment

-Maintain complete paperwork
-Lift, carry, push and pull packages and material on a continuous and repetitive basis
-Work under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area
-Operate warehouse equipment in a safe manner
-Read and follow written instructions
-Clean and maintain work area
-Responsible for inventory organization, stocking and racking
-Demonstrate flexibility to perform various job roles within the warehouse as assigned
-Maintain open, professional and productive dialogue
-Proactively make suggestions to drive continuous improvement
-Collaborate with team members to achieve goals
-Work under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area
-Help as needed with measuring the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance

Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Must have a minimum of 1-year experience in warehouse environment
-Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds
-Blueprint and drawing comprehension
-Possess moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
-Basic computer proficiency to complete things such as electronic timecards, inventory look up or generate bar-code and shipping labels
-Must be able to perform multiple, non-technical tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills to meet changing job conditions
-Ability to understand and follow instructions regarding work duties and safety methods
-Ability to work proactively and positively with a high-level of independence and internal
