Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician I to support the assembly and integration of mechanical and electromechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assembling components, following work instructions, performing quality checks, and collaborating with team members to ensure products are built safely, accurately, and on schedule. Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical frames, structures, and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
Perform basic electromechanical assembly using proper grounding and ESD-safe practices.
Follow detailed assembly procedures and complete repetitive production tasks with consistency and accuracy.
Use hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, hex keys, drills, saws, tape measures, and assembly fixtures.
Conduct in-process quality inspections using visual checks, checklists, and measurement tools.
Assist with integrating large subassemblies into completed products and systems.
Read and interpret basic blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
Perform wire dressing, cable routing, and basic wire termination tasks.
Safely move materials and components using pallet jacks and other approved material-handling equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
Participate in cross-training initiatives to support production efficiency and team flexibility.
Meet production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Support overtime and additional production needs when required.

Skills:
1+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
Experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, or electromechanical systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
Experience using pallet jacks or material-handling equipment.
Basic blueprint or print-reading experience.
Experience performing quality inspections in a production environment.
Technical school, vocational training, or coursework related to manufacturing, mechanics, or electronics.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic assembly drawings.
Experience using common hand and power tools.
Ability to accurately read and measure using a tape measure.
Basic understanding of wire routing, wire dressing, and termination techniques.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform frequent standing, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
