• Operate necessary equipment to perform a variety of required operations.
• Perform inspection of parts. Record and interpret data for process control charts as required.
• Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify Manager of hazardous situations.
• Participate in and take proactive roles in ISO, AS9100, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification and solution verification.

Other Responsibilities

• Assume other projects and responsibilities as directed.
• Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
• Reports to Production Supervisor. Has contact with internal and external customers and co-workers.
• Operates a variety of equipment to assemble products. Produces products to conform to engineering drawings, assembly documentation, and quality required.

Working hours: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Knowledge:
Ability to satisfactorily complete and implement all OJT and required trainings AND understand the organization structure, businesses and sites, and applying that knowledge to daily tasks, communications and assignments.

Analytical, Business and Technical:
Ability to apply knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, processes or systems and skills to improve performance, quality and timeliness, to make thoughtful decisions and to solve problems, using good judgment.
Ability to understand, implement and mentor others in AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Ability to use tools techniques and skills effectively, efficiently and in accordance with ergonomic principles.
Ability to operate equipment and use tools and techniques effectively, efficiently and in accordance with ergonomic principles.
Proficiency in software as required; ability to perform math calculations, measurement, analysis or reporting as directed.

Communication:
Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately orally, in writing or electronically.

Quality:
You will be part of a QMS (Quality Management System) that continually aims to reduce/eliminate non-conformances while striving to meet/exceed customer expectations in the most cost effective and efficient manner.

Manufacturing:
Continually monitor manufacturing methods, processes and procedures to ensure departmental goals are met while maintaining or improving cost competitiveness, which includes identifying, recommending, and implementing necessary improvements.

Business Skills:
Demonstrates a solid understanding of the business issues related to the position; A grasp of marketing, finance, and sales will be important as this position will help shape decisions in these areas.

Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing electronic assembly experience or specialized training.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
