As an Automation Technician, you will manufacture and test electrical and mechanical assemblies for cutting-edge robotic and factory automation systems. You'll be responsible for bringing complex designs to life, from individual components to full-scale prototype systems.
Responsibilities:
What You???ll Do Daily
Precision Building: Build, test, and repair electrical and mechanical sub-assembly components.
System Testing: Evaluate components during the assembly process to ensure they are fit for use and meet high quality standards.
Workflow Mastery: Organize and plan your tasks, communicating with other departments to hit production and delivery goals.
Problem Solving: Report discrepancies and recommend improvements to boost quality and productivity.
Field Support: Occasionally travel to customer facilities to assist with the installation and start-up of new equipment.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
The Working Environment
Hands-On: You'll regularly work near moving mechanical parts and must be comfortable using material handling equipment.
Physicality: Ability to stand, walk, and reach frequently; you must regularly lift 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Safety First: You'll be provided with/required to use safety equipment like glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes in a moderate-to-loud shop environment.

Education: High school diploma/GED. Vocational-technical training is highly desired.
Experience: 6 months to 2 years of related experience or training.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand basic electrical/electronic schematics and mechanical blueprints.
Soft Skills: Strong teamwork mentality and the ability to work under reduced supervision as you master the role.
