Position Type: Temp-to-Hire.
Location: Alachua, FL.
Pay Range: $18.25 to $19.25/hr + Benefits (Medical, Dental, 401(k), Bonuses).
Schedule: Multiple shifts available (2nd, 3rd, Weekend).
2nd is Monday - Friday, 2pm - 1030pm. $18.25/hr
3rd is Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 6:30am or 11pm - 7:30am, $19.25/hr
Weekends - Friday - Sunday, 5am - 5pm and every other Monday, $18.50/hr

Responsibilities:
- Prepare safe, quality grafts while strictly maintaining aseptic technique.
- Verify sterility and calibration of all equipment and supplies prior to use.
- Accurately complete all written and electronic documentation for processing and cleaning activities.
- Precisely read measuring instrumentation (ruler, caliper, etc.) for processing tasks.
- Adhere to all safety precautions when working with sharps and cutting equipment.
- Measure, label, and package tissue accurately per standard operating procedure (SOP).
- Prepare tissue and environmental samples for testing according to SOPs.
- Perform line clearance and final quality inspection of processed tissue and paperwork.
- Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and disposal of all biohazardous and non-biohazardous waste.
- Prepare chemicals in appropriate ratios for processing and cleaning.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
- Effective written and spoken communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic math (addition, division, subtraction, multiplication).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- General knowledge of anatomy (required).
- Lab experience (highly preferred).
- Experience with data entry (preferred).
