As a Blown Film Operator, you will be at the heart of our production line, responsible for managing the complex extrusion process that turns raw resin into high-quality sustainable films.

Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Set up, start, and operate blown film extrusion lines based on specific job orders.
Process Monitoring: Maintain a stable "bubble" by constantly monitoring temperatures, air pressure, and line speed.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular gauge (thickness) and width checks to ensure every roll meets our high durability standards.
Material Management: Manage resin hoppers, ensuring the correct blend of materials and additives is fed into the system.
Final Production: Safely remove finished rolls from the winder, weigh them, and prepare them for palletization.
Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep, including screen changes and die cleaning, to prevent downtime.

Working hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Skills:
Sustainability Mindset: Familiarity with recycled resin types and their unique processing requirements.
Safety Conscious: A proven track record of adhering to strict OSHA and internal safety protocols.
Leadership: Experience mentoring junior operators or managing high-speed production lines.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in blown film extrusion or a similar industrial manufacturing environment.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to read gauges, use measuring tools (micrometers/tape measures), and understand mechanical processes.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and fix process fluctuations in real-time.
