Spherion is currently hiring for Bulk Picker/Warehouse positions right here in Ogden, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for picking master cases for orders, labeling pallets, recording pulled items, and transporting completed orders to the shipping dock or staging area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
Pay is weekly.
Responsibilities:
Work from requisition, order list or stock list.
Pull master cases of items for order and check off document as materials are pulled.
May place pulled items in tote or box, or on pallet or cart and label.
Accumulate orders, record items pulled, report shortages and transport completed orders to distribution point, staging area or shipping dock.
May return/place stock in storage area at proper bin or storage location.
May take inventory or stored items.
May operate power jacks or use manual carts and pallet jacks.
Use RF devices and prepare labels. Will require Very Narrow Aisle equipment.
Fill material requisitions promptly, accurately, detect defective material and report shortages.
May be required to do cycle counts as necessary.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
-Physical,- standing, walking, pushing, lifting boxes and totes. Pick to totes on a rolling cart and must be able to maneuver a rolling cart that can weigh up to 75 lbs. once filled with orders.
- Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to use hand scanners, tablets, and computers for manifesting.
- A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and great attendance.
- While Order Picker experience is preferred, we are willing to train candidates who have general picking experience and are comfortable with heights.
