What You'll Do:
Develop a professional staff to assist in achieving financial and operational goals in conjunction with the Business Development Manager.
Implement and coordinate effective employee recruitment strategies.
Ensure 100% order fulfillment with our clients by working closely with Account Managers and Recruiters at each of our office locations.
Create and implement successful strategic initiatives to meet and exceed Spherion's sales and profitability targets
Provide ongoing updates through the use of analytics regarding key metrics including: talent funnel, pipeline, time to fill, and retention rates.
Drive ongoing improvements in recruiting processes in order to increase quality of hire and candidate retention.
Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
Develop and execute recruiting strategies to identify qualified candidates for internal staff positions.
Develop a fully operational and qualified staff by training employees according to established company guidelines.
Identify developmental and career growth opportunities to ensure staff retention.
Foster a work culture that will motivate staff to meet and exceed established goals.
Coach and counsel associates on behavioral and performance issues, document and take corrective action on an as needed basis.
Conduct a cadence of regular staff meetings.
Operational and Financial Management:
Communicate and coordinate the various aspects of branch operations required to ensure compliance (Worker's Compensation, Unemployment Claims, Human Resources, Legal, etc.).
Financial management of branch operations (budgeting, forecasting, monthly P&L review, credit, and collections, etc.).
Ensure the timely collection of all accounts receivable. Take appropriate steps to resolve delinquencies.
Implement, monitor, and comply with company programs/initiatives.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all branch activities.
Participate in local professional, business, and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition.
Sales and Business Development:
Develop and implement effective strategies to increase sales and maximize profits by evaluating the potential client base, developing new accounts, and increasing revenue of existing accounts.
Maintain communication with established clients to ensure successful business development and to promote client and employee retention through exemplary customer service.
Develop and implement an effective recruiting strategy to ensure the availability of qualified flexible/full-time employees in order to meet current and anticipated needs.
Utilize established marketing programs to increase sales and maximize profits.
Analyze reports and operating statements to determine if the marketing strategy is producing the desired result. Take appropriate action to modify strategy or correct deficiencies so as to ensure goals are achieved.
Evaluate the potential for expanding the client base and increasing revenue from existing accounts.
Maintain personal contact with active clients to ensure they are satisfied with the quality of service they are receiving.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Four-year college degree or 5 years of equivalent business experience.
Minimum of four years related management experience with a strong emphasis on leading a team.
Ability to think critically - recognizes connections, translates goals into action, uses strong judgment to make choices in alignment with strategy and company culture/values.
Ability to connect with people - fosters strong partnerships, interacts well with employees at all levels.

Computer literacy in Microsoft and/or Google systems
Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary.
Schedule, Compensation, & Benefits
Working hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Base Salary: $70,000-$75,000/ year
Opportunity to earn an uncapped bonus monthly over.
