We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented CNC Bender Operator / Fabricator to join our Fabrication Department. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality metal products using a variety of CNC and manual tube-bending equipment. This is a physically demanding position ideal for individuals with great stamina who take pride in "taking ownership" of their work. Pay: $19.00 - $25.00/hour (Starting rate depends on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:45 PM)
Schedule: Currently working 9-hour days to support production demands. Includes a 10-minute break and a 30-minute lunch.
Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate manual and CNC tube bending machines.
Fabrication: Operate a variety of shop equipment including drill presses, manual mills, end formers, rollers, and saws (horizontal and vertical).
Tooling Setup: Appropriately select dies, fixtures, mandrels, and wipers for assigned jobs.
Quality Control: Perform part inspections using dial calipers, height gauges, and measuring arms to ensure work meets print specifications.
Documentation: Record results on routing sheets and track hours to specific Shop Orders.
Safety & Maintenance: Follow all shop safety rules, keep the work area organized, and return tools to their appropriate locations.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM
Skills:
3+ years of manufacturing experience, particularly in metal forming or welding environments.
Trade school training.
General understanding of metal forming principles such as compression, elongation, and springback.
Experience with part layout and quality inspection techniques.
Ownership of basic shop tools (screwdrivers, pliers, hex wrenches, etc.).

Qualifications:
Blueprint Reading: Mandatory. You must have the ability to evaluate print specifications and verify your own work.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of fabricating experience.
Math Proficiency: Strong understanding of shop math, including fractions, decimals, metric conversions, and geometry.
Physical Stamina: Must be capable of lifting, grasping, and loading parts up to 40 lbs. in a fast-paced environment.
Measurement Accuracy: Expert use of measuring equipment like 6" scales, tape measures, and calipers.
