Single Turret/ Single Spindle Lathe, 3rd shift: 10:55pm-6:55am, $27.38/hr
Single Turret/ Twin Spindle Lathe, 3rd shift: 10:55pm-6:55am, $29/hr

Responsibilities:
-Set up and operate Single Turret Single Spindle, Twin Turret Single Spindle, and Twin Turret CNC Lathe machining centers to complete daily work orders.
-Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines.
-Conduct first-piece and hourly inspections to ensure parts meet strict quality standards.
-Successfully demonstrate troubleshooting and independent problem-solving abilities on the production floor.
-Implement preventative maintenance requirements on the lathes based on defined schedules.
-Maintain work areas within 5S and Workplace Organization guidelines.
-Complete components to meet established production rates.
-Maintain the highest standards of safety in performing all duties.
-Report to work on time and communicate schedule changes or time off in advance to the supervisor.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
-A trade school degree or vocational certification in machining.
-Advanced physical agility and manual dexterity for machine setups.
-Proven capability to work productively in a challenging, fast-paced environment and react with appropriate urgency.
-Excellent organizational, time management, and proactive problem-solving skills to anticipate and avoid mistakes.
-Excellent communication skills for honest, open, and consistent interaction with internal personnel and supervisors.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2+ years of documented experience as a CNC Machinist setting up, troubleshooting, and operating lathe machining centers.
-High school diploma or GED equivalent.
-Proficiency in the use of precision measuring devices, specifically micrometers and calipers.
-Direct understanding of G-Codes, specifically for Okuma controls.
-Ability to read and interpret component prints, technical drawings, or schematics.
-Ability to execute average to complicated arithmetic calculations.
-Physical capability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive bending or stooping, and frequently lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
