Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical, control, and PLC subsystems across manual, semi-automated, and fully automated equipment.Lead machine automation and control projects, including equipment capacity expansion, part transfers, and cost reduction initiatives.Support equipment purchases and installations, ensuring adherence to company electrical and control standards.Collaborate directly with vendors on tooling and process improvement for existing and new applications.Mentor and train technicians, engineers, and process specialists in electrical systems and control design.Partner with maintenance, engineering, and tool room teams to resolve equipment and process non-conformances.Program, debug, and maintain PLC and numerical control systems for fabrication, assembly, and finishing equipment.Support validation and qualification processes, including equipment qualification, process validation, and PPAP documentation.
4-7 years
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.6+ years of related experience in manufacturing controls, automation, or electrical engineering.Proven experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and debugging.Experience with mechanical, electrical, and P&ID documentation.Strong working knowledge of industrial automation applications and software.Rockwell Automation software expertise highly preferred.
