Please note that these shifts run Monday through Friday, with additional availability required every other weekend as needed. The ideal candidate will work efficiently, maintain high quality standards, and strictly follow all production procedures.
The available shifts and pay rates are as follows:
- Swing Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM ($18.25/hour)
- Grave Shift: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM ($18.75/hour)
Responsibilities:
- Pack cookies into clamshell containers with high attention to quality and presentation.
- Operate both manual and automatic packing lines, including the auto tray clamshell loader.
- Maintain a clean and stocked workstation throughout the shift.
- Inform the Packing Lead immediately of any defects in products or packaging materials.
- Work alongside a moving conveyor belt to ensure efficient and accurate packing.
- Rotate workstations as required to reduce repetitive motion injuries.
- Meet production goals of packing 4 to 5 clamshells per minute.
- Consistently lift and place full clamshells at a rate of at least 5 times per minute.
Working hours: 2:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Skills:
*Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
*Experience with automated packaging equipment
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work efficiently and safely as part of a team
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
*High School Diploma or GED
*Ability to stand for prolonged periods (8+ hours) on a concrete floor
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive task environment
*Good hand-eye coordination
*Ability to lift and perform physical tasks as required
*Must be reliable and able to follow instructions under supervision
* Must have non slip shoes Steel-toe shoes
