The Crate Builder/Packer is responsible for safely building crates, packaging products, and preparing materials for shipment according to work orders. This position requires attention to safety, quality, accuracy, and proper material handling.

Position is on 1st shift 4am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday with overtime on Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities:
-Review orders and build crates according to requirements.
-Place parts/products into crates and secure them for shipment.
-Apply required tags and labels.
-Safely use nail guns, hand tools, and other required equipment.
-Move completed crates using proper lifting techniques and team lifting when needed.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
-Report safety, quality, or equipment concerns to leadership.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
-Basic computer knowledge.
-Detail oriented with organizational and time management skills.
-Thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
-Ability to follow work orders and instructions.
-Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools.
-Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivilant
-Previous packing/shipping experience
-Frequently lifts heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
-Job may require physical exertion such as long periods of standing.
-Job may require above average agility and dexterity.
