Spherion is looking for an experienced Cycle Counter person in Elkhart, IN!
The Cycle Counter is plays a critical role to catching up, maintaining, and auditing inventory accuracy across the entire facility.
1st shift: 5am-3:30pm (Monday through Thursday) OT possible on Fridays.
Pay $16-$18/hr + $1/hr with perfect attendance (paid on a weekly basis).

Responsibilities:
-Inventory Auditing: Perform daily cycle counts of materials, parts, and finished goods located throughout the plant and warehouse to ensure alignment with the new ERP system.
-System Data Entry: Utilize RF scanners and computer databases to accurately log counts, research inventory discrepancies, and update stock locations.
-Returns Processing: Manage the physical put-away process for returned items, ensuring they are placed in the correct warehouse locations and properly recorded in the system.
-Material Handling: Move, organize, and restock materials as needed. This includes heavy lifting and occasional operation of a stand-up forklift (approx. 8???10% of the role) to access higher racking.
-Discrepancy Investigation: Assist the inventory team in tracking down missing items and identifying the root causes of inventory variances.
-Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while adhering to all company safety protocols.

Qualifications:
-Previous standup forklift experience
-Able to lift up to 50lbs consistently
-Shipping/Receiving or Inventory knowledge
-Reliable attendance
