The Connection and Assembly Technician is responsible for performing electrical connections, mechanical assembly, and supporting autoclave activities in the transformer manufacturing process. This includes assembling and wiring components, ensuring proper connections, and assisting with the autoclave drying and oil filling processes to ensure transformers meet operational and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
1. Transformer Assembly: Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of transformer components, including tap changers, bushings, and other internal connections.
2. Electrical Connections: Ensure all necessary electrical connections, such as tap changer wiring, bushing connections, and cable terminations, are correctly and securely made.
3. Autoclave Support: Assist in preparing transformers for autoclave drying, including proper placement and securing of components inside the autoclave chamber.
4. Oil Filling Preparation: Assist in the setup and preparation of transformers for oil filling under vacuum, ensuring all connections are properly sealed and ready for the oil process.
5. Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of components and connections during assembly to ensure proper installation and identify any defects or issues.
6. Collaboration with Testing Team: Work closely with testing engineers and technicians to ensure all connections are properly made for electrical testing and performance evaluation.
7. Autoclave Operation Assistance: Support the operation of autoclave equipment, ensuring transformers are correctly placed, monitored, and processed under appropriate temperature and pressure conditions.
8. Safety Protocols: Follow and adhere to all safety procedures during assembly, electrical connections, and autoclave activities to ensure a safe work environment.
9. Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and ensure proper functioning of tools and equipment used during assembly and autoclave support activities.
10. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly, connections, and autoclave activities, ensuring all processes are properly documented.
