We are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced electronic products. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working with RF and mixed-signal systems, and performing high-quality component-level repairs. You'll work closely with both Engineering and Production teams, helping ensure products meet performance and reliability standards while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
-In the first three months, a successful technician will:
-Become fully trained on internal repair procedures, ESD practices, and documentation standards
-Independently troubleshoot and repair common failures across multiple product types
-Demonstrate confident use of lab equipment (scope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator) to support debugging
-Consistently deliver accurate repair results with minimal rework
-Communicate clearly with Engineering and Production regarding failure trends and repair outcomes
-Contribute at least one meaningful improvement idea related to repair efficiency, test setup, or documentation
Responsibilities:
What You'll Be Doing
Troubleshoot and repair analog, digital, and RF assemblies using schematics, drawings, and specifications
Perform structured debugging to isolate faults and complete component-level repairs (resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc.)
Select and operate appropriate test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
Support Production with technical assistance to improve throughput and product quality
Collaborate with Engineering by providing repair feedback and failure analysis insights
Maintain and improve test procedures, work instructions, and documentation
Calibrate and maintain test stations, fixtures, and lab equipment
Identify opportunities to improve product designs and repair/test processes
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Associate's degree in Electronic Technology (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in electronics repair and/or mechanical assembly
IPC Soldering and IPC ESD certifications (preferred but not required)
Working knowledge of ESD handling best practices
Familiarity with root cause analysis methods (5-Why, Fishbone, etc.)

Qualifications:
Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and schematic interpretation
Proven troubleshooting skills with a methodical debug approach
Experience with SMT hand soldering and working with small electronic components
Comfortable researching components and interpreting datasheets
Strong communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly
Organized and self-motivated; able to manage priorities independently

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
