Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and measurement checks on parts, circuit boards, and electronic assemblies to ensure they meet quality guidelines
- Use specialized inspection tools and machines to spot solder defects and component issues
- Document and communicate any product rejections or defects quickly to keep production running smoothly
- Fill out simple internal forms for non-conforming parts or scrap materials
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with IPC electronics standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems
- Prior experience using Epicor software
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in quality inspection; preferably in electronics
- Strong attention to detail with experience performing visual product inspections
- Ability to read basic assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills-of-materials
- Comfortable logging data into an ERP computer system
