Spherion CT is seeking two Entry-Level Assembly Associates to join a small manufacturing team in a temporary-to-hire role with an immediate start. In this position, you will perform detailed assembly work, building mixed detonating cords while following strict safety and quality procedures. The role requires standing for the full shift and performing repetitive tasks with precision. Responsibilities:
Assemble mixed detonating cords with high attention to detail
Perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift
Stand for the full 8-hour shift while working at assembly stations
Follow strict safety and manufacturing procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with light manufacturing duties as needed
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
Familiarity with safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
Ability to maintain an organized and clean workspace
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Attention to detail and precision
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
Good hand dexterity (small assembly work)
Reliable and efficient work ethic
Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required
