Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Experienced Forklift Operators for a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Orrville.
You'll safely operate forklifts to move materials and finished products, keep production lines supplied, and assist with hands-on production tasks.
At least one year of recent forklift operating experience is required.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys operating equipment, takes safety seriously, and doesn't mind stepping off the forklift to help keep production moving.
What You'll Do
- Operate forklifts to transport, move, and stack materials
- Complete forklift safety inspections before operation
- Supply production lines with materials and move finished goods
- Assist with packaging, sealing, and stacking products
- Support automated production areas and material flow
- Restack materials and help maintain organized work areas
- Assist with production cleanouts and inventory counts
- Perform general housekeeping and production-support duties
- Follow all equipment and workplace safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Minimum one year of recent forklift operating experience REQUIRED
- Ability to safely operate forklifts in a busy manufacturing environment
- Comfortable performing hands-on production and warehouse tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to climb ladders as needed
- Comfortable working in dusty environments and varying temperatures
- Dependable attendance and strong safety awareness
- Availability for mandatory overtime, including weekends, when required
